Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Nipa Parikh grew up in New Jersey, but completed college and dental school in Pennsylvania. She attended Wilkes University with a Major in Biology and Minor in Chemistry and Studio Art. Dr. Parikh graduated with a number of honors and scholarships for her academic achievements. From there, she attended dental school at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where she obtained her degree in dental medicine, DMD. She then moved back home to New Jersey and completed her General Practice Residency (GPR) at Rutgers University.
What Should We Know About You?
During her residency, Dr. Parikh developed an interest in treating children and those with special needs. She has also worked as a general dentist for a pediatric dental office. While at Rutgers, she had the opportunity to enhance her skills in general dentistry, become an Invisalign provider, as well as place and restore implants. Dr. Parikh is of Indian heritage, and attends religious and cultural events in her community. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and also loves exploring, relaxing, watching TV, traveling, and trying new cuisines.
