Dr. Richer is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a specialty focus on treating patients with Jaw Disorders. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Richer earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. After a year in clinical research at John Hopkins University, he proceeded to earn his DMD degree from Tufts UniversitySchool of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, where he graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon society. He extended his education to include a four-year Residency Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. During his residency training, he developed a passion to treat patients with TMJ disorders and other complex jaw disorders, dentoalveolar procedures, dental implants, and other mouth diseases. This passion led him to pursue a fellowship Orthopedic Management of facial structures and Dental robotic surgery in Northwest Arkansas. Dr. Richer has brought his passion for excellence and clinical expertise to the Northeast and currently teaches at Hackensack University Hospital. He is excited to see new patients and to offer an elevated level of care near you.
